Green Coast Engineers has a solid background in structural design, construction administration, and threshold inspection of residential and commercial buildings. Structural condition assessment and restoration of existing buildings is another area that our expert team can add significant value to using their knowledge in construction materials and effective repair procedures. In addition to our building practice, we provide structural condition assessment, engineering, permitting, construction administration, and special inspection services for coastal structures such as seawalls and boat docks.
GCE holds technical certification in the General Structural Engineering (11.00) and Construction Administration (17.00) categories issued by Miami-Dade County Technical Certification Committee. GCE is a Small Business Enterprise (SBE) certified by Miami Dade County and a Micro Business Enterprise (MBE) certified by Miami Dade County Public Schools.

Dr. Jawaheri Zadeh has been practicing structural engineering for 20 years in Miami and New York City; as well as his native country, Iran.
His design experience includes more than 10 million square feet of concrete and steel structures. Prior to joining GCE, Hany worked as Design Manager and Project Manager on several landmark buildings in South Florida and New York City such as Aston Martin Residences in Miami by BMA Estudio De Arquitectura and Apple Store in Downtown Brooklyn by Foster and Partners.
Dr. Jawaheri Zadeh received his Doctorate Degree in structural engineering from the University of Miami and is a licensed engineer in Florida and California. In addition to his practice, he teaches structural design at the University of Miami where he holds the position of Instructor at the UM College of Engineering.

Dr. Khatib received his Doctorate Degree in Structural Engineering from University of Miami, and he has shared his expertise and research with top media outlets, including NPR, NBC, WLRN, Miami Herald, and many global engineering publications. Dr. Khatib is the recipient of the prestigious Outstanding Service Award from the American Concrete Institute. He is also a licensed engineer in the State of Florida.
